Today, Big Sister got to hang out at the monastery near us. She wandered around for a bit, helped one of the sisters prepare the lunch for all the sisters (potato stuffed peppers!), hiked a quiet trail, picked up a few fossils, had lunch with a catechesis friend, created art with another sister, and lastly, sat in eucharistic adoration.
It wasnt really planned, but she seems to have had a day retreat- a desert day, so to speak. Tomorrow will be another desert day for Big Sister. I hope it goes as well.
