Why? Why would you felt rocks?
Partly just because you can! In addition, they are great for fairy play. Its a very Waldorfy thing to do.

| Rocks. Roving wool. Hot, soapy water. Eager kids. |

| The wool begins to felt quickly in the hot water. Some gentle agitating works the felt more. |

| And some light scrubbing to create a nice knap. |

| Rinse in cold water and dry in the sun. Really cute! |
