Twice a month, we head out to the
Community of St. John and participate in a homeschool co-operative education group. It's been really fun and challenging this year. I teach history and the kids are learning history and language arts. Big Sis is growing by leaps and bounds with the
IEW program, and making fast friends with the kids. Little Brother is also making new friends and really enjoying his history class.
This week, the weather was grey and windy, but quite balmy with temps near 70 degrees! We arrived too late for Mass, but early enough for a short hike. Both kids brought their hiking vests- fishermen's vests converted to hiking gear such as Swiss army knives, compasses, and other important items.
