A Trip to Frank Lloyd Wright's Dana-Thomas House

We had an unexpected free day on Friday, so I decided to introduce the kids to the Dana-Thomas house in Springfield. I knew they would like it, but Little Brother is completely smitten! The boy is in love with architecture!



Big Sister has enjoyed Frank Lloyd Wright's works for some time, begging for the Falling Water Lego model for Christmas. How nice to see FLW's work so intimately. The Dana-Thomas House is a great example of his earliest work, smacking of Arts & Crafts and Japanese traditional structure that combine to make the Prairie Style. Very neat!
