The kids and I have been volunteering at a Wildlife Prairie Park in the homesteader's cabin. They enjoy dressing the part, hanging laundry, drawing water, and playing checkers with a corn cob set. Today was the first day we could volunteer this spring, and it was cold! But the sun felt wonderful and we had over a dozen families stop in while we hosted. Great fun!
