Small Things

Small things today:

• Cream in potato-leek soup. Num!
• Lemon icecream at Dudley's, our local, family-run stand.
• Swimming and conversation with friends.
• Grandma waving Hi! while we take out recycling bins.
• Recycling bins filled with tin foil, plastic, cardboard, and cans.
• Little Brother coloring in a book of knights in armour.
• Big Sister helping care for the cats... and trying out new pine cat litter.
• Muppets.
• Holding a nine-week-old baby.
• Iced coffee with vanilla cream. (Cream is a foodie theme today!)
• A new book: Boys Adrift by Leonard Sax.
• A donation of parenting books to a local women's shelter.
