No... They are conducting an experiment!
We recently bought some Sun Chips and were aghast at how crinkly the bag sounded! Upon reading the product information, we discovered that the plastic bag is actually made from vegetable materials and is biodegradable. Hmmmm.... Homeschoolers cannot resist this kind of challenge.
So Big Sis and her friend buried a Sun Chip bag, and a standard plastic chip bag. We will be digging them up periodically to see what happens.
