A few years ago, I took some training and became a University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist. That means that I have an official license to take people on nature adventures! It's great fun, and I take a lot of joy in watching others (children and adults) discover how amazing our natural world is.

The mission of the University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist Program is to provide science-based educational opportunities that connect people with nature and help them become engaged environmental stewards.
